On the Samsung website in Russia, in the product support section, a page dedicated to the Galaxy A31 smartphone has appeared, which may mean its announcement in the near future.
The upcoming announcement of the smartphone is also indicated by the fact that it recently passed certification in the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and Wi-Fi Alliance organizations. Unfortunately, there is no information on the characteristics of the new product on the Samsung website yet. However, the data in the Geekbench benchmark, suggest that the Galaxy A31 belongs to the category of mid-range devices.
According to Geekbench, the smartphone is based on an eight-core MediaTek MT6768V/CA (Helio P65) chip with a base clock speed of 1,7 GHz and an ARM Mali G52 graphics system. It is also indicated that the smartphone has 4 GB of RAM on board and runs on the Android 10 operating system.
According to previous reports from sources, the smartphone is equipped with 64 GB of flash memory and a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. They also talk about the presence of a dual or triple camera with a main 48-megapixel module and an additional 5-megapixel sensor for macro photography. Apparently, we should expect more information about this new product in the coming days.
