According to network sources, the Wi-Fi Alliance has received smartphones from the Zenfone 6 family, which ASUS will announce in the second quarter, for certification.
According to available information, the Zenfone 6 series will include devices with a retractable periscope camera and (or) devices in the slider form factor. This will allow you to realize a completely frameless design and at the same time do without a cutout and a hole in the display.
Wi-Fi Alliance documentation indicates that the Zenfone 6 will feature a dual-band Wi-Fi adapter—2,4 GHz and 5 GHz. The devices will be able to operate on 802.11ac networks. The operating system version is also listed: Android 9.0 Foot.
Leaks suggest that the novelties will be equipped with a triple main camera. The fingerprint scanner can be integrated directly into the display area.
Smartphones are credited with having a productive processor – up to the Snapdragon 855 chip. The amount of RAM will be at least 6 GB.
The official presentation of ASUS Zenfone 6 devices will take place in mid-May.
