The state corporation Roskosmos reports that a special train with blocks of launch vehicles has arrived at the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur Region.

In particular, blocks of Soyuz-2.1a and Soyuz-2.1b rockets, as well as a nose fairing, were delivered to Vostochny. After washing the container cars, the components of the carriers will be unloaded and moved through the transborder gallery from the block warehouse to the assembly and testing building for their subsequent storage.

β€œIn the warehouse of blocks of the technical complex, specialists prepared workplaces for receiving products. The calculation for carrying out work with components has undergone additional training, and permissions for independent work have been received, ”the message says.

To date, only five launches have been carried out from Vostochny. Moreover, one of them ended in failure: due to the failure of the upper stage, the Meteor-M satellite No. 2-1 and 18 small devices were lost.

The fifth launch from the new Russian cosmodrome was successful produced in July this year. The satellite for remote sensing of the Earth "Meteor-M" No. 2-2 and 32 small spacecraft were launched into space.

The Roscosmos state corporation has not yet disclosed the timing of the next launches from Vostochny. But earlier it was reported that the sixth start could be carried out in the second half of this year.
