The construction of Russian inflatable buildings will take only a couple of hours

Ruselectronics holding of the Rostec State Corporation is launching inflatable buildings on the market - pneumoframe structures based on air-filled cylinders.

The presented development was created on the basis of exclusively Russian materials. In the production of inflatable structures, taffeta, or polyester silk, is used.

Inflatable structures are suitable for the rapid erection of temporary buildings: these can be, say, field hospitals, living quarters in disaster areas, warehouses, mobile sports fields, etc.

Pneumatic frame structures are erected using an electric compressor that pumps air under pressure into tubular cylinders. The whole process takes only 1-2 hours.

It is argued that inflatable structures are highly seismic resistant and can be operated year-round, withstanding strong snow, heat, wind loads and temperatures from minus 60 to plus 60 degrees Celsius.

Another advantage of the solution is the ability to deploy structures on any soil, including snow, sand and stones. Such buildings do not require a foundation.

Pneumatic frame structures make it easy and safe to place ventilation, heating and various access systems - gates, doors and hatches. If necessary, the inflatable building can be disassembled and reused elsewhere.

β€œThe cost of one product starts from 1,5 million rubles, depending on the construction area and the customer’s wishes for additional options, for example, the number of exits,” notes Rostec.
