We are talking about the launch of the Soyuz MS-15 manned spacecraft. The launch of the Soyuz-FG carrier rocket with this device is scheduled for September 25, 2019 from the Gagarin launch (site No. 1) of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

The main crew includes cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, astronaut Jessica Meir, and UAE space flight participant Hazzaa Al Mansouri. Their understudies are Sergey Ryzhikov, Thomas Marshburn and Sultan Al Neyadi.

As part of the pre-flight preparation, the expedition members tried on their spacesuits, tested for tightness and took their seats in the Soyuz. In addition, they checked the equipment with which they will work in orbit, got acquainted with the onboard documentation, studied the flight program and the list of cargo scheduled for delivery to the ISS.

In the near future, training will be held on manual berthing of the spacecraft to the International Space Station. In addition, it is planned to work out the upcoming ballistic operations.
