iPhone 12 production expected to start in July

DigiTimes suggests that all iPhone 12 models will go into production next month, but it's not clear if that means they'll hit the market at the same time. At the moment, it is not even known whether Apple will introduce the entire new family in September. However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that older models with mmWave 5G support will enter the market later due to a delay in the supply of some components caused by the coronavirus pandemic. It is assumed that the younger iPhone 12 will go on sale in time, which will receive support for 5G with a frequency below 6 GHz.

Apple is expected to introduce four new iPhone models this fall, one of which will receive a 5,4-inch screen, two will be equipped with 6,1-inch displays, and the largest smartphone in the family will receive a 6,7-inch matrix. According to preliminary data, all four devices will be equipped with OLED screens, will receive support for fifth-generation networks, a reduced display notch and a LiDAR sensor.
