Patriot Memory has unveiled its Viper Gaming VPR100 RGB M.2 NVMe SSDs for desktop computing.
Products are made in M.2-2280 format. 3D TLC NAND flash memory microchips and Phison E12 controller are used.
The devices use the PCI-Express 3.0 x4 interface and the NVMe 1.3 protocol. The family includes models with a capacity of 256 GB and 512 GB, as well as 1 TB and 2 TB.
The declared read speed of information reaches 3300 MB / s, the write speed varies from 1000 to 2900 MB / s.
The drives are equipped with a heatsink with built-in RGB lighting. You can control its operation using the Viper RGB application. It also talks about compatibility with ASUS Aura Sync RGB, MSI MysticLight, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion systems.
The devices come with a five-year warranty. The price ranges from 95 to 400 US dollars.
