Nintendo has introduced a "new kind of adventure game" - Ring Fit Adventure for Nintendo Switch.
After For the Wii, Nintendo once again offers a way to have fun and benefit your body. Ring Fit Adventure is a combination of fitness and adventure game with a turn-based combat system: with the help of special accessories, physical exercises turn into game attacks. In the project, gamers explore the worlds and fight enemies, while Ring-Con and a leg strap read the player's movements.
To complete various Ring Fit Adventure tasks, users will have to crouch, run in place, bend over and strain their muscles. The user will be able to adjust the intensity level so that those who have never done fitness can also play comfortably.
The Ring Fit Adventure campaign has over 20 worlds. To move through them, players will perform various actions, including jumping, hovering in the air, control a raft on the river. Enemies will periodically attack the hero. With over 40 sports skills (categorized as arms, core, legs, and yoga), players can attack and defend. By following the instructions and performing the exercise correctly, you will effectively deal with opponents. Each action performed brings experience points to the character, which increases the level and unlocks new sports skills.
By playing Ring Fit Adventure every day, you can train different parts of the body: in addition to the campaign, the project includes additional mini-games and training programs. βThe desire to find new ways to entertain and make players smile is in Nintendo's DNA, and Ring Fit Adventure for Nintendo Switch is a new kind of game that combines fitness and adventure,β said Stephan Bole, President of Nintendo of Europe. βHopefully, once players pick up Ring-Con, strap on their leg, and start playing, theyβll be so immersed in the adventure that theyβll come back and practice every day.β
The Ring Fit Adventure will go on sale October 18th.
