Desktop version of Google Chrome will get a reading mode

Despite the fact that the Google Chrome browser is very popular around the world, it has always lacked useful features. Some tools that have worked successfully in other browsers for years are still missing from Google's browser.

One such popular feature is coming to the desktop version of Chrome soon. We are talking about Reader Mode, which allows you to remove all unnecessary content from the page you are viewing, including intrusive ads, pop-ups, etc. Using this tool, the user will be able to focus on reading text material without being distracted by extraneous things. In addition to the text itself, the reading mode leaves images on the page that are directly related to the material being viewed.

At the moment, reading mode is being tested in Chrome Canary and will soon be available to all users of the popular browser. Unfortunately, it is not yet known when the new feature will appear in the beta version of the program or will be distributed with one of the following updates.

Recall that the reading mode is quite popular because it helps to focus on the study of textual material. This tool has been integrated into several browsers for a long time, including Firefox, Safari, Edge, as well as Google Chrome for the Android mobile platform.
