WhatsApp has given its two billion users another reminder of the importance of staying at home during the coronavirus pandemic. The app has released a new set of "At Home Together" stickers as part of its effort to make the messaging service a vehicle for accurate and useful updates, not misinformation.
WhatsApp said it was working with the World Health Organization (WHO) on stickers that are localized for 10 different languages, including Russian. The stickers encourage hand washing, work from home, virtual parties and meetings, and other social concepts.
The update comes after Instagram launched the popular "Stay Home" sticker, also as part of a measure to support social distancing. In turn, Facebook and Messenger have added new "care" responses to give people an additional means of remotely supporting each other.

Facebook said earlier that its messaging apps have become more popular as more users are forced to stay at home.
