Realme introduced the expected by many inexpensive and functional smartphone Realme X, which the company refers to the flagships. It is by far the most powerful and advanced handset ever produced by this Oppo-owned brand, which is focusing on aggressive pricing to conquer the Indian market.
Of course, Realme X is not a truly high-end phone, but it is still quite powerful thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC. The device is equipped with a 6,53-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + (2340 Γ 1080) resolution and 100% color space coverage NTSC. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is used for protection, and a 6th generation fingerprint scanner is hidden under the screen.
The display offers thin bezels (except for a small chin), occupies an area of ββ91,2% of the front edge and has no cutouts thanks to a 16-megapixel front camera with a Sony IMX471 sensor and f / 2 aperture (the module extends in 0,74 s and rated for 200 operations).
The rear camera received a 48-megapixel 1/2β³ Sony IMX586 sensor with an f/1,7 lens aperture. It is complemented by an LED flash and a 5MP secondary sensor for capturing scene depth information and capturing portrait shots. Various smart photo modes are supported.
In the presence of a 3,5 mm headphone jack, a 3765 mAh battery, support for Oppo VOOC 3.0 high-speed charging and two SIM cards. The dimensions of the device are 161,2 Γ 76 Γ 9,4 mm and weighs 191 grams. The back of the case is protected by glass and decorated with an S-shaped gradient. The device is available in white and blue colors. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 shell.
The device will go on sale in China on May 20. The cost will be 1499 yuan (~$220) for option 4/64 GB, 1599 yuan (~$230) - for 6/64 GB, 1799 yuan (~$260) - for 8/128 GB. There is also a Master Edition designed by Naoto Fukasawa that comes in onion and garlic white with unique patterns and costs RMB 1899 (~$275).
