Eigen project repository unavailable

The Eigen project has encountered technical issues with the main repository. A few days ago, the source code of the project hosted on the GitLab site was not available. When accessing the page, the error "No repository" is issued. The releases of the package posted on the pages were also unavailable. The discussion participants note that the long unavailability of eigen has already disrupted the assembly and continuous testing of many projects, including the Google Tensorflow library.

Currently, there is no certainty regarding the timing of the restoration of the repository and the reasons for the failure. Closing the repository could be related to the work of the rmlarsen1 actor, about which a corresponding entry was saved in the project activity log. At the same time, the developers indicate that the corresponding request was sent to the GitLab support team.

Eigen is a popular open source cross-platform implementation of basic linear algebra operations. What distinguishes Eigen from classical systems is the possibility of additional optimizations and metacompilation of specialized code for specific algebraic expressions, as well as GPU support.
