Non-commercial provider FossHost providing hosting for free projects

The project FossHost the work of a non-commercial provider was organized, providing free virtual servers for free projects. Currently, the project infrastructure includes 7 servers, deployed in the US, Poland, UK and the Netherlands based on the platform ProxMox VE 6.2. The hardware and infrastructure is provided by sponsors to FossHost and the operations are run by enthusiasts.

Existing free projects that have an active community and a website or GitHub page, can free of charge get at your disposal virtual server with 4 vCPUs, 4GB RAM, 200GB storage, IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. It is possible to register free second-level domains and organize the work of mirrors. Management is done via SSH. Installation of CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo, ArchLinux, Fedora and FreeBSD is supported. It is noted that such open projects as ActivityPub (W3), Manjaro, XFCE, Xubuntu, GNOME and Xiph.Org have already used FossHost virtual servers.
