During the FaceIt tournament for online shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, two players - Woldes and Jezayyy - were banned for using cheating software during the Red Bull Flick Finland National Final. They took first place, but were soon stripped of their title.

Anti-cheat systems were unable to detect any abnormalities, but viewers noticed unusual movements of the crosshairs during the broadcast of the offenders' matches against the duo of professional players Jamppi and allu. “Unfortunately, due to a technical issue in last week’s release, our anti-cheat team was unable to access detection information for multiple types of cheats in a timely manner,” tournament organizers FaceIt said.

The tournament organizers also revealed that another 80 players used cheats, but the system was unable to identify and block them all in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the tournament matches will not be replayed. The duo went to the EU Closed Qualifier and took second place.
