Neil Druckmann voiced the character in The Last of Us Part II, but didn't tell anyone about it

As it turned out thanks to SpiderChundi, The Last of Us Part II director Neil Druckmann and head of narration Halley Gross gave their voices to minor characters in The Last of Us Part II.

In the second half of the playthrough, when the player enters the theater for the first time, a conversation can be heard on the radio between two members of the Washington Liberation Front, played by Druckmann and Gross.

Druckmann's character, a soldier by the name of Briggs, manages to report to a colleague at headquarters about the superior forces of the enemy, after which he falls silent. Quite possibly forever.

I might be tripping but that lowkey sounds like Neil Druckmann and Halley Gross over the Radio. If someone from ND somehow sees this please tell us if you know. from r/thelastofus

The discovery of SpiderChundi was commented on and confirmed by Druckmann himself in topic with video discussion: the developer praised the fan's hearing and, judging by the emoji left in the message, was pleased with the disclosure of the secret.

The fact is that in credits The Last of Us Part II does mention Gross' work on the game's voice acting, while Druckmann is only credited as director and writer.

The Last of Us Part II was released in June this year exclusively on PlayStation 4. In mid-August, the project received update 1.05, which adds a higher difficulty level, gameplay modifiers, and additional accessibility settings.
