In 2017, Nintendo made a preliminary announcement of a game about Kirby, one of the company's most popular characters. The new chapter of the famous since 1992 series was released in March last year on the Nintendo Switch under the name Kirby Star Allies in the form of a 2,5D platformer. It looks like Nintendo is going to radically change the look of this character in the next game.
At least the developer HAL Laboratory on the official Twitter channel presented a new look for Kirby - the pink circle has become a pink square. Now it takes up even more space, so fans will surely be pleased with the innovation.

But the Japanese developers did not stop there - they believe that if it has increased in one place, then it should decrease in another. Therefore, HAL Laboratory decided to make another of its characters round - the square Qbby from the puzzle platformer BoxBoy! In fact, the characters have switched bodies.
