Nintendo has officially unveiled the Switch Lite, a handheld game console that will go on sale on September 20th.
The novelty is said to be great for those who play a lot outside the home, and for those who want to play online or local multiplayer with friends and family who already have a flagship Nintendo Switch model.
The handheld console supports all Nintendo Switch games that can be played in "portable" mode. It is important to note that the ability to connect new items to the TV is not provided.
The Switch Lite is housed in a 208 x 91,1 x 13,9 mm case. The weight is approximately 275 grams. Buyers will be able to choose between three color options - yellow, gray and turquoise.
As part of the gadget, a specialized NVIDIA Tegra processor is used. The 5,5-inch diagonal touch display has a resolution of 1280 Γ 720 pixels.
The equipment includes an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a 32 GB flash drive, stereo speakers, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1 wireless adapters, an NFC module, a USB Type-C port and standard headphone jack.
Responsible for power is a battery with a capacity of 3570 mAh. The operating time can be up to six hours, but will depend on the programs used and operating conditions.
The Nintendo Switch Lite handheld game console will be available for an estimated price of $200.
