Nintendo has released software update 8.0.0 for the Nintendo Switch. Its most important changes include sorting games into menus and transferring saves to another system.
With Update 8.0.0 now available to download and install on your Nintendo Switch, the All Programs menu lets you sort games by title, usage, play time, or publisher. But this option only works for users with more than thirteen app icons on the screen.
It's also possible to transfer save data from one console to another and pick up where you left off on the first system on the second system. Saves are transferred, not copied - they cannot be used on two Nintendo Switch.
An equally important innovation is the scaling option. It is activated by double pressing the Home button and allows you to zoom in on the screen in any game or part of the menu. In addition, fifteen avatars with characters have been added to the profile settings and Yoshi's Crafted World. And now it's easier to follow posts in the news menu, because now you can open them directly from the channel, as well as keep track of unread materials.
