Bloomberg reported that Internet company Amazon is working on creating a wrist, voice-activated device that can recognize human emotions.

Speaking to a Bloomberg reporter, the source provided copies of Amazon's official documents, which confirm that the Alexa voice assistant development team and Amazon's Lab126 division are collaborating on a new wearable device.

It is reported that the wearable device using the available microphones and the corresponding smartphone application will be able to "determine the emotional state of the owner by the sound of his or her voice."
