Lenovo has introduced the IdeaPad L340 Gaming portable computer for gamers on a budget: the laptop will go on sale next month.
Despite the prefix Gaming in the name, the novelty has a rather strict design. Buyers will be able to choose between 15,6-inch and 17,3-inch versions. The resolution in both cases is 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format).
The electronic "brain" of the laptop is an Intel processor. The maximum configuration includes the Core i7-9750H chip, which combines six cores with the ability to execute up to 12 instruction streams. The nominal clock frequency is 2,6 GHz, the maximum is 4,5 GHz.
IdeaPad L340 Gaming features up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 discrete graphics accelerator, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless adapters, USB 3.0 (×2), USB Type-C, HDMI ports 2.0 and Ethernet.
A variety of drives are available for the storage subsystem: this is a solid-state module with a capacity of up to 1 TB, a hard drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB, and a 16 GB Intel Optane product.
The dimensions of the younger version are 363 × 255 × 24 mm, weight - 2,2 kg. The older one measures 413 × 285 × 25 mm and weighs 2,5 kg. The price is from 870 and 920 US dollars, respectively.
