ASUS introduced the ROG Strix Scar III and ROG Strix Hero III gaming-class portable computers using the Intel hardware platform and the Windows 10 operating system.
The ROG Strix Scar III G531 and ROG Strix Hero III G531 models debuted with a 15,6-inch screen with a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz, as well as the ROG Strix Scar III G731 and ROG Strix Hero III G731 versions with a 17,3-inch display with a refresh rate of 144Hz refresh. The resolution in all cases is 1920 Γ 1080 pixels (Full HD).
Specialists from the BMW Designworks Group took part in the development of the design of the new products. The laptops are equipped with multi-color backlighting and an efficient cooling system.
Depending on the configuration, an Intel Core i9-9880H, Core i7-9750H or Core i5-9300H processor is used. The amount of DDR4-2666 RAM can be up to 32 GB.
All laptops can be equipped with an M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD up to 1TB and a hybrid hard drive of the same capacity.
Other equipment includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters, a backlit keyboard, stereo speakers, USB 3.1 ports, HDMI 2.0, and more.
