ASUS introduced the X409 and X509 portable computers, equipped with a display with a diagonal of 14 and 15,6 inches, respectively.
Laptops received a NanoEdge screen with narrow side frames. So, in the X409 model, the width of the left and right frames is only 6,5 mm, and the relative display area is 78%. For the X509 modification, these figures are 7 mm and 83%.
Buyers of new products will be able to choose between options with an HD panel (1366 Γ 768 pixels) and Full HD (1920 Γ 1080 pixels). The top configuration includes a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce MX250 with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory.
As part of laptops, an Intel Core i7-8565U, i5-8265U, i3-8145U or Pentium 5405U processor can be used. The amount of DDR4 RAM in the maximum configuration reaches 16 GB.
Computers received a reinforced design. So, a special plate under the keyboard provides the necessary rigidity for comfortable work with the keyboard and touchpad. Additional brackets, positioned perpendicular to the edge of the case, protect the swivel mount and internal laptop components from side impacts.
The storage subsystem combines a hard drive with a capacity of up to 1 TB and a solid state drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB. Equipment includes stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 wireless adapters, USB Type-C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 (Γ2) and HDMI ports.
The battery charge is said to be enough for a whole day of battery life. Fast charging technology allows you to replenish the energy reserve up to 60% in about 50 minutes.
Windows 10 operating system is installed on laptops. In Russia, new items will go on sale in July at a price of 22 rubles.
