HyperX, a division of Kingston Technology, has announced the availability of the Cloud Stinger Wireless and Cloud Alpha Purple Edition headsets for gamers.
Both new items are of the overhead type. They are equipped with 50 mm neodymium drivers and a microphone for negotiations.
Model Cloud Stinger Wireless, as reflected in the name, uses a wireless connection: for this, a small USB transceiver operating in the 2,4 GHz band is used. The developer highlights comfortable ear cups with a 90-degree rotation angle. With HyperX shaped memory foam and a padded headband, the headset offers a high level of comfort. Claimed battery life on a single battery charge reaches 17 hours. The range of reproducible frequencies is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
The wired Cloud Alpha Purple Edition, on the other hand, boasts dual-chamber technology for high fidelity sound in games. The two chambers separate the low frequencies from the mids and highs to create a dynamic sound. The device is made in purple and white. The range of reproducible frequencies is from 13 Hz to 27 kHz.
The Cloud Stinger Wireless and Cloud Alpha Purple Edition headsets are available for an estimated price of $100.
