It so happened historically that the Windows operating system family from Microsoft has become the dominant operating system throughout the world. The superiority of one particular operating system was also historically predetermined. If the Soviet Union had not collapsed at the turn of the 90s of the last century, a completely different operating system would have been in use on 1/6 of the land and in many other places. You can joke about Cheburnet for a long time, but any superpower's own software is an elementary requirement of national security. But now is not about that.
The fact is that one of the founders of Microsoft - Bill Gates - found himself with his software product at the epicenter of the "Big Bang". Lucky circumstances, talent and the ability to conduct business in the full range of possibilities (and no one claims that all of them were highly moral from the point of view of an ordinary person) made him one of the richest people on the planet. And public, which is no less important. And few people love the rich and public. Moreover, the Windows operating system, as a massive, complex and dynamically developing product, has delivered and still delivers quite a lot of unpleasant surprises to users.
But this is also not the topic of today's conversation. All we need to remember today is that Gates actually got rich on the population of the Earth. Get into everyone's pocket! And this is hardly a strong exaggeration. Even if you close your eyes to the fact that Windows itself has never been free, since the spring of 2011, Microsoft began to collect royalties from manufacturers of Android smartphones and tablets, in particular. For example, in 2014 alone, Microsoft earned $3,4 billion for patents on Android. That is, the population indirectly, but regularly, brought certain and collectively huge money to Microsoft and Gates.
True, in 2018 the company made patents for Android and practically ceased to receive deductions for their use. But this is also an ominous hint - it was in 2018 that Microsoft openly and decisively went into "Open source": bought GitHub, joined the organization to protect against patent trolls, and so on. The company wisely reasoned that open projects would eventually reach even more of the population. Is this not the way to world domination? Notice how everything stacks up one by one?
The main events have happened very recently. In mid-March of this year, hours after President Trump declared a US emergency over the coronavirus pandemic, Gates unexpectedly announced his resignation from the Microsoft board of directors. All these coincidences, many years of charity work with an emphasis on fighting epidemics, plus the place of the leader in the notorious "golden billion" played an unpleasant joke on the perception of the personality of Bill Gates. Many citizens began to treat him, his philanthropy, common knowledge, attitude towards pervasive computerization, etc., etc. with increasing suspicion. Moreover, Gates even began to be accused of the origin of the coronavirus pandemic, of plans to chipize and even to destroy the vast majority of humanity.
In fact, they began to accuse Bill Gates of insidious plans a long time ago, and not right now, as, for example, in the case of Nikita Mikhalkov's sensational speech. All this is due to the fact that Gates, with his money and connections, has firmly entered the pharmaceutical topic and, in particular, the topic of vaccinations. And this fits perfectly into his business practice - to get through to everyone. Did he cross someone's path? Yes, I switched. Is it useful for ordinary people? Yes, I have. According to some estimates, 1,5 million people die every year from lack of vaccinations - mostly children. This is a given and a tragedy, but it can and should be influenced.
You should not have any illusions that this is happening somewhere in dense Africa. The example of the spread of measles in Europe last year speaks for itself, and globalization hints that in the absence of vaccinations or a vaccine, a pandemic is only a matter of time. Should we be surprised, then, by Gates' publicly voiced fears that a pandemic, as a threat to human survival, would be a more likely scenario than nuclear war? Perhaps he simply knew too well about the situation in American healthcare and wanted to talk about it before the coronavirus pandemic exposed the true state of affairs. However, in other countries, with a few exceptions, things turned out to be not much better, and the problem is clearly far from being resolved.
So, at the heart of Bill Gates' activities outside the walls of Microsoft, with a high probability, there are two interests at the same time: the survival of a person as a biological species and money (more broadly, resources for life and activity). One is inextricably linked to the other. Bill Gates may well be sincere in his desire to save lives (why not?), but this does not prevent him from being a businessman and making expansion plans, whether he be a patriot or a globalist. The peculiarity of Gates's personality is that he became a figure of a planetary scale, which made him a convenient target for conspiracy theories and which smoothly brings us to the idea of this article.
So, one of the current modifications of the conspiracy theory involving Bill Gates, which at the end of April Channel One accuses Gates of actively participating in a conspiracy behind the scenes of the world to either destroy almost all of humanity, except for the "golden billion", or completely chip citizens to control them by the "world" government. From these positions, the pandemic is just an excuse or a pretext, and even an artificially caused phenomenon for the implementation of far-reaching insidious plans.
Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov added fire to this whole story. In early May, in his regular author's program, he openly accused Gates of intending to chip citizens with or under the guise of vaccinations. We cannot judge the successes or failures of Bill Gates' structures in the field of vaccination, but as an IT resource we know something about "chipping", namely, what technologies the "evil genius" Bill Gates can have and whether such technologies exist at all .
Chipping practice today
It’s worth starting with the fact that in reality the practice of chipping living organisms is about forty years old. And the idea itself is also not the first hundred or even a thousand years. Slaves and cattle were branded to identify property. Even the word label in Russian has a negative connotation, let alone chipping. But that's about people. Nobody asks about animals - chipping has long been able to maintain databases on the number and health of livestock and more or less reliably identify pets. For example, follow the timing of vaccination and do it automatically or semi-automatically. It's easier, more reliable and cheaper.
As a result, the cost of keeping livestock is reduced, which makes it possible for its owners to earn more, and the market for chipping and maintenance services is also growing, which also makes it possible for other people to earn. Today, the volume of the animal microchip market reaches several billion dollars a year.
Can people be microchipped with animal tags? It is possible, but for the world behind the scenes, no matter what everyone thinks about it, there is no practical sense in this, and here's why. A common type of radio-frequency (RFID) tags used to chip animals is a simple design of a transceiver with an antenna and a memory chip for tens, less often a hundred or more bits. The tag does not have its own power source and receives it via a radio channel from the RFID scanner - the current induced in the tag's antenna by the scanner's electromagnetic field charges the capacitor. The latter plays the role of a small battery in the tag (the process itself is akin to wireless charging of a smartphone). Actually, all this works according to the same principles as the tags used to protect against theft of goods on the shelves in stores, magnetic passes for turnstiles and the like work: there is no cosmic level of technology here.
The reading radius of such a tag ranges from a few centimeters to several decimeters and depends on the size of the tag and its antenna. Contrary to the advertising of veterinary clinics that chip animals, it is impossible to read data from such a tag quite remotely, just as it is impossible to track and find a lost animal with its help. An animal can be unambiguously identified only if three conditions are met simultaneously: if it is caught, the receiving party has an RFID scanner and data about the animal (tag) is entered into one of the popular thematic databases.
The cost of one RFID tag in wholesale lots fluctuates around 10–90 cents, and the procedure for introducing such a tag into the living tissues of a pet can cost about 2 rubles. The practice of chipization with such RFID tags can really be made a mass phenomenon at an affordable price. However, there is a nuance: the procedure is carried out using a kind of syringe with a very thick needle, through which the chip is inserted into the tissue. It will be impossible to talk about any imperceptible introduction of a label - if you approach a person with such a “syringe”, it’s good if the patient gets off with a simple fright and does not actively resist.
But let's say a terrible thing happened - a citizen was still chipped with an RFID tag. The maximum that can be “sewn” into it is an arbitrary number (usually up to 8 characters), a country code, and a label manufacturer code. In this case, it will not be possible to read information remotely. It is even more impossible to find such a citizen from a satellite. It is not even possible to keep the data reading procedure secret. Everything will immediately be revealed as soon as people with RFID scanners begin to regularly show attention to you.
In other words, chipping that is common today is a minimum of information (an identifier in the database) and a maximum of inconvenience when collecting it. Such an implementation is clearly not suitable for a conspiracy theory. The benefits of RFID tags sewn under the skin may be different. Some consider them a convenient way to open electronic locks, then ordinary keys will become unnecessary. Or, for example, they can be used for payments in a store without a card. But in this case, the user agrees to chipping voluntarily and, of course, there is no question of any control over him.
"Apocalyptic" Microsoft patent
One of the arguments of Mikhalkov and previous speakers in favor of the sinister plans of Microsoft and Bill Gates personally was the patent number WO/2020/060606. More precisely, it is an international patent application registered on the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) website. If you scroll back and forth on the application numbers, you can find out that application number WO/2020/060605 also belongs to Microsoft, and application WO/2020/060607 was filed by Western Digital. Therefore, with the number WO/2020/060606, two options are possible: either the European Freemasons were pierced, or this is a far-fetched coincidence of the number of a specific patent application with the “number of the devil” 666. It seems to us that the second is clearly closer to the truth, especially since the original “apocalyptic » The Microsoft patent is registered in the US a year earlier than in Geneva, and has a neutral and meaningless number 16/138518. Patent status, like a new number , this document was received on March 26, 2020. Where is the “number of the devil”, we do not understand. Microsoft's idea of tracking the activity of a user's vital signs when performing certain actions in front of a computer is to exclude the calculation of hash functions in the technology of mining cryptocurrency or executing blockchain operations. Instead of complex calculations, the system will take data from the scanners about the user's current individual vital signs and, on their basis, create a unique and unbreakable code. This is a kind of unique user signature. For example, sitting in front of a computer, he watched an ad, and his performance was fixed and sewn into the chain of blockchain operations, or a new cryptocurrency block was created based on them. Microsoft's idea (moreover, it's the idea, we're not talking about implementation here) is to save computing time and the resources that go into this, for example, electricity. Everything else is idle speculation.
Aliens choose anal probes, and earthlings choose nanotechnology
The satirical animated series South Park aired on August 13, 1997 with the pilot episode "Cartman and the Anal Probe". Every American knows that aliens implanted anal probes into abducted people and then subjugated them to their desires. An illustrative choice of theme for the pilot episode, but the aliens in it use clearly backward technology. Chipping involves a much more accurate approach. This is about the same number of transistors in the Intel Pentium 4 Prescott processor chip, which appeared in 2004. A lot can be done with such a hardware base. True, if we talk about chips introduced into the human body, it is still necessary to somehow resolve the issue with RAM, system power, communication with the “owner” and mechanisms for controlling its actions.
Obviously, the memory of a chip embedded in a person must be non-volatile. The densest memory today is 3D NAND. Unfortunately, from a certain point on, 3D NAND manufacturers stopped publishing data on the density of cells in terms of a unit area of the crystal surface. But it is enough for us to have an approximate idea of what quantities we are talking about.
At one of the IEEE conferences in 2016, Micron revealed that in the laboratory it was able to overcome an important milestone: to achieve a then-record recording density in 3D NAND and surpass magnetic hard disk platters in recording density. More specifically, on one square inch of a Micron crystal memory cells with a total capacity of 2,77 Tbit. In terms of 1 mm2, this is 4,29 Gbit or 536 MB. For an Intel Pentium 4-level processor, this is not the ultimate dream, but quite sufficient volume for executing commands and storing data.
Thus, so far everything suggests that a relatively productive computing system can be sewn into a person. There are enough resources for real-time operating systems.
Who eats well, works well
Let's try to deal with food. In a small chip that could be inserted relatively imperceptibly under the skin or into human muscle tissue, there is virtually no place for a battery. Power for electronics will have to be taken from somewhere outside. We will talk about possible sources for obtaining power below, but for now we will devote a little time to the consumption of a hypothetical processor embedded in a person.
On the way to reduce chip consumption, Intel and its comrades have come a long way. A little over a decade ago, Intel began to develop processes and circuitry that would allow transistors to operate at voltages close to the threshold. Prior to this, the logic was designed taking into account the switching voltage of transistors above 1 V. But for the ubiquitous CMOS manufacturing processes and conventional silicon, the theoretical threshold voltage limit is much lower, it is 36 mV. As a result of continuous attempts to bring practice to theory, the reality is that today chip manufacturers can produce logic with transistor switching voltages from 300 to 500 mV.
Yes, the voltage of the logic can theoretically be reduced by an order of magnitude. But it should also be remembered that a decrease in the supply voltage of transistors will lead to an increase in logic failures due to the spread of transistor parameters during production and changes in their characteristics under the influence of temperature fluctuations. Simply put, the lower the supply voltage (and consumption), the less reliable and slower everything works. It also follows from this that for the sake of reliability, you will have to sacrifice to some extent the density of the transistors.
So what kind of consumption can we talk about? Let's turn to Intel's demonstration at the fall session of IDF 2011. Then it an experienced 32-nm Claremont processor (on an architecture similar to Intel P54C) with 6 million transistors on a chip with an area of about 2 mm2. The logic of this processor began to work at a voltage of 380 mV at a frequency of 10 MHz with a consumption of about 1,5 mW. In idle mode, the processor coped with simple background tasks at a consumption level of 10 mW. What is 10mW? For comparison: a conventional indicator LED in smartphone charging consumes up to 60 mW, and its only purpose is to make it beautiful. The Intel Claremont Experimental Low Cost Processor needs a six times smaller power supply to get started.
Taking into account the development of architectures, technical processes and technologies, it is permissible to assume that today it is possible to create an Intel Pentium-level processor with a consumption of about 1 mW or even lower. But where in the human body can one get a stable power supply with a power of 1 mW or more (in fact, more, since memory, a radio transmitter and some kind of human control systems still need to be powered)? Several answers can be given to this question, but all of them are unlikely to be a really suitable solution.
A solar cell with a small area - the size of a large postage stamp - could provide up to 10 mW of power, which was also demonstrated by Intel (see photo above). But this option is definitely not for chips implanted in the body. In any case, such a power scheme cannot be done secretly, although it is not difficult to openly implement such a scheme. It would be practical for brain implants to be powered by solar panels located on the head. However, in the case of hypothetical chipping disguised as vaccination, this option is clearly not suitable.
Energy can also be obtained from vibrations and vibrations. Pocket watches with automatic mechanical spring winding were invented three hundred years ago. Modern technologies for the production of microelectromechanical matrices (MEMS) open the way to miniature power sources that generate current from vibrations. In February of this year, one of the latest promising developments on this topic was just French institute CEA-Leti.
The French made electric current generator chips from vibrations with the ability to generate from 100 μW to 1 mW. With a stretch, this could be enough to power the chip sewn into the body. But let down the size. Judging by the accompanying illustration (see above) - and there is no exact data on the size of the generator yet - the generator chip is quite large. If it can be placed under the skin or in other living tissues, then only surgically. For secret mass chipization-vaccination, this is also not an option. It will take a long time to heal and itch - you will definitely notice.
You can consider the option of extracting electricity from electromagnetic fields - both from electrical wiring and from all kinds of radio frequency noise (cellular communication stations, radio communications, Wi-Fi, etc.). But with all this there is one big problem - a rather large antenna-coil is needed. A miniature RFID tag in this case cannot be considered an ideal solution. The RFID scanner is quite capable of generating an electromagnetic field in the transponder coil, which is sufficient to produce power up to 10 mW. Only now the scanner should be at a distance of a few centimeters from the receiver, and the receiver should have a rather large receiving coil on a scale of several centimeters.
The miniature passive RFID tags for animal microchipization, which we talked about above, operate with much lower power. In any case, in order to transmit to the chip implanted in the body the power sufficient for the operation of complex logic - our conditional 1 mW - the scanner or a source of strong electromagnetic radiation must be located as close as possible to the secret chip. That is, the need for close contact and the large size of the receiver coil reduce all secrecy to zero.
Maybe the answer to finding power for body-embedded electronics lies in the realm of good old electrochemical reactions? The human body is on average 60% water. More precisely, from various kinds of electrolytes. It's practically a battery. For example, recent developments by researchers at the California Institute of Technology use human sweat as an electrolyte. the patch in the process of decomposition of lactic acid by an enzyme in the presence of a catalyst makes it possible to generate up to 35 MW of energy from one square centimeter. But the conspiracy theory is again destroyed by the size of the solution. This is clearly not for hidden wear, but if such a generator is made intramuscular, then the problem of removing decay products will arise. In 20-30 years, maybe something will come of it, but today - definitely not.
Equally, the above applies to obtaining energy from carbohydrates, in particular from glucose (sugar). In the presence of enzymes and catalysts, glucose actually decomposes and serves as a source of energy. Experiments in this direction and are still underway. Many prototype batteries powered by glucose solutions have been created in laboratories, but integrating such a power source into the human body is a challenge of a completely different order. What kind of glucose battery can we talk about if the problem with diabetes has not yet been solved?
We can also recall another source of energy - the heat emitted by a person. The most efficient heat-to-electricity converters are thermoelectric elements based on . Peltier elements of a small area can easily provide power of 10 and 20 mW, and more. There are a lot of such developments, and interest in them does not weaken (see, for example, and photo above). Another thing is that for the thermoelement to work, there must be a noticeable temperature difference on its polar sides. To do this, one of the sides of the element must be brought out to dissipate heat into the surrounding space. And you can't do it again unnoticed.
Summing up a brief digression into the power supply of wearable / implantable electronics, we can confidently say that today science and technology are unable to offer a miniature battery even for serial wearable electronics, and even more so for hidden (secret) chipization. Microelectronics in this area has long been ready to offer something interesting, but for now it's the same as if you were offered to assemble a computer without a power supply.

Non-sport (radio) orienteering
If you are not a horse, in which you can easily drive a radio-frequency tag several centimeters in size into the muscles or under the skin, then you can detect a body chipped with RFID tags only by colliding with it nose to nose. Chips of the largest size for injection into cattle allow you to cover paddocks or small pastures, but in any case, this radius is no more than two to three tens of meters. It is not possible to track RFID tags or other manifestations of RFID globally. The most suitable connection for this business can only be cellular, and with base stations located relatively close to each other.
Conspiracy theorists put two plus two together and got ... five - 5G communication towers blazed almost all over the world.
Don't look there, arsonists citizens! Operators have long begun to mask cellular antennas. Today, some new decorative element will appear in urban development rather than the classic tower that causes irritation, as it was 20 or even 10 years ago. It can be a simple vertical radio-transparent plastic pipe with antennas hidden inside, or a vertical element of outdoor advertising. The photo above, for example, shows how antennas are hidden in a life-size model of a cactus in the USA. This practice is becoming ubiquitous, and the transition to 5G will make antennas and towers even less visible in urban and even rural landscapes. Concerned about the global conspiracy, individuals simply will not be able to detect them, or, under the guise of fighting towers, they will begin to destroy everything that they personally do not like.
5G communication technology is primarily introduced to reduce delays in data transmission. To do this, the towers must be placed more often. But this is not the tower to which we are accustomed. The 5G base station unit, together with a small embedded server, is relatively small and comparable in size to a laptop (the above photo is an example of one of Huawei's 5G base station options). When providing mass coverage, 5G base stations can simply be mounted on the walls of buildings, and they can be easily disguised with decorative elements. Such blocks will not cause suspicion and irritation of citizens. There is also a practice to place bases decorated with plastic on street lighting poles. Who pays attention to them? Frequent placement of base stations - by the way, this is at the same time the ability to reduce the signal strength of both the transmitting side and the receiving side. But can it somehow help control chipped people?
Hardly. Human tissues and water in tissues are a good screen for high-frequency radio emission in the range in which 5G communications operate. This means that the 5G transceiver antenna cannot be buried deep into the human body. It should be as close as possible to the surface of the skin, otherwise much more power will be required to establish a connection. Also, the antenna for 5G communication is a rather complex complex high-tech node. It is impossible to make it invisible for injection into the human body. The relatively large size, due to the radio wavelengths used, and the need to place the 5G antenna in plain sight speak for themselves - for the patient, the implantation of the 5G transceiver and antenna will not go unnoticed.
A few words need to be said about the power required for the operation of a 5G transceiver (and mobile communications in general). At the time of establishing a connection between the transmitter and the base station, the signal power reaches 1 W. The signal must be strong in order to pass authentication and establish a reliable channel, but this stage lasts a matter of milliseconds. Suppose, in this case, a powerful supercapacitor (ionistor) was provided for a chipped citizen. The strongest stretch, but technically feasible. After the stage of establishing a connection for the operation of the radio channel, such a large power is no longer needed, you can get by with a power of the order of several tens of milliwatts. Taking into account the development of error correction algorithms and the mass deployment of 5G stations, we assume that a transceiver power of 10 mW will be sufficient to support the communication channel. But even this is a very significant plus to the budget of the implanted processor and a minus to the conspiracy theory.
Real chipization tomorrow: what it will look like
From all of the above, it clearly follows that covert chipization, which, for example, could be disguised as vaccination, is simply impossible at the current level of technology. However, this does not negate the fact that the implantation of semiconductor implants into the human body in the near future may become a reality. It will just happen in a very different way and for different purposes from what the conspiracy theorists imagine. To understand where technical progress is actually heading in this area, it makes sense to look at the Neuralink neural interface, which is being developed by Elon Musk's company of the same name.
Elon Musk again last week that before the end of the year, Neuralink will begin clinical trials of the proprietary human-machine interface on living people. Earlier, he promised to conduct such tests last year, but for some reason (most likely of a legal nature), the implantation of the Neuralink neural interface into the patient’s living brain has not yet taken place.
How would this happen. Let's leave the floor to Musk: “We will literally cut out a piece of the skull, and then install the Neuralink device there. After that, the electrode threads will be very carefully connected to the brain, and then everything is sewn up. The device will be able to interact with any part of the brain and will restore lost vision or lost limb functionality.”
Chipization according to Elon Musk will become part of a serious surgical operation. This is not vaccination at the speed of a machine-gun burst, an individual approach is needed here. The chips are placed inside the patient's skull, and the electrodes are immersed in the cerebral cortex according to a special scheme.
Also, apparently, the chips inside the skull will be connected to an inductor located somewhere nearby (nothing is planned to be brought out), and the connection of the internal device with the outside world - with a battery and a Bluetooth transceiver (and then with a computer) - will be carried out technology similar to RFID.
From the images presented, you can understand what real chipization will look like. The task of such chipping is to enable immobilized patients or people with serious injuries to control smartphones, computers or electronic prostheses with the “power of thought”. Alternatively, it may be possible to return a semblance of vision or hearing. This is already feedback. In some cases, such a system will help restore motor skills to the body if damage to the spinal cord has destroyed the direct channel for transmitting nerve impulses.
In the very distant future, Musk dreams of a fusion of human and artificial intelligences, and, of course, with the help of such chips, a person can be controlled. Someday it will happen, but very, very soon. Will there be opponents of such practice? Necessarily! Ignorance can only be eradicated by scientific education, and this is still not the best situation on our planet.

Unfortunately, the Internet has provided a platform for any opinions, including those with an overwhelming degree of fiction and a minimum of scientific base, or even a complete lack of common sense. We could not stand aside and decided to speak on the issue of chipization in the way that it really could look like at the present stage of electronics development. All the above calculations are approximate, but they speak quite clearly about the level of possibilities of such solutions.
There is only one conclusion: today there are no technologies that allow creating a miniature integrated solution for imperceptible or even noticeable introduction into the human body in order to control its actions. However, the good old propaganda does an excellent job with this task, but this is a completely different story.
