Astra Linux Group has released an update for the Astra Linux Common Edition 2.12.29 operating system.
The key changes were the Fly-CSP service for signing documents and verifying electronic signatures using CryptoPro CSP, as well as new applications and utilities that improved the usability of the OS:
- Fly-admin-ltsp - organization of a terminal infrastructure for working with "thin clients" based on an LTSP server;
- Fly-admin-repo - creating your own repositories from deb packages from different developers;
- Fly-admin-sssd-client - input to the domain with access to remote authorization mechanisms;
- Astra OEM Installer - facilitating the OEM installation of the OS: the ability to set administrator credentials at the first start, install the necessary components, etc .;
- Fly-admin-touchpad - touchpad settings in laptops.
The changes also affected the work with mobile devices: the OS was adapted for MIG T10 tablets on the x86_64 processor architecture, the file selection dialog was finalized for a mobile session, and work with contacts was improved.
More than 300 packages have been updated, more than 90 of which are from the Fly GUI, including Fly-wm (up to version 2.30.4) and Fly-fm (up to version 1.7.39).
Previously identified bugs have been fixed and the latest vulnerabilities have been fixed.
