A new version of the strategy game Warzone 2100. Project OpenDiablo2

After 10 months of development published free real-time strategy release 3.4.0 Warzone 2100. The game was originally developed by Pumpkin Studios and released to the market in 1999. In 2004, the original texts were open under the GPLv2 license and development of the game continued by the community. Both a single player game against bots and multiplayer games are supported. Packages prepared by for Ubuntu 18.04/20.04, Windows and macOS.

There are 485 changes compared to the previous release, including the addition of quick and automatic recording functions, the ability to change any settings through the game pause menu, and a built-in notification display widget.
Improved graphics, including smoother map rotation and scaling, added frame interpolation in animation. New tech tier T4 added (all research completed) and BoneCrusher, Cobra and Nexus bots implemented.

Additionally, the project can be noted OpenDiablo2, which attempted to recreate the role-playing game engine Diablo 2released in 2000 by Blizzard Entertainment. The development team is currently focusing on developing the functionality needed to run Diablo 2 (requires original game assets from Diablo 2), but the project will be extended further with modding and providing an engine for writing new games. The implementation code is written in Go and spreads licensed under GPLv3.
