Bandai from Japan has introduced a new generation of Tamagotchi electronic toy, which was very popular in the 90s. Soon the toys will go on sale and will try to regain the interest of users.
The new device called Tamagotchi On is equipped with a color LCD display with a diagonal of 2,25 inches. For synchronization with the user's smartphone, there is an infrared port, as well as a Bluetooth module.
The device in question has quite a few new features that were not available in the past. For example, electronic pets can visit each other, get married and even breed. According to available information, users will be able to store up to 16 generations of funny pets on one device. The very process of interaction with the Tamagotchi has not changed much. It is necessary to regularly feed virtual animals, walk them, take care of them in every possible way, preventing them from dying. Synchronization with a smartphone allows you to realize the possibility of sending and receiving gifts, exchanging pets, etc.
At the moment, there is a countdown on the manufacturer's website, measuring the time until the start of official sales, which are scheduled to start at the end of July 2019. On Amazon, the Tamagotchi On device is already available for pre-order at a price of $59,99, which is approximately equal to 3900 rubles.
