Dell has announced the Vostro 13 5390 and Vostro 15 7590 laptops based on Intel hardware platform designed for business use.
Mid-range laptops received a display measuring 13,3 and 15,6 inches, respectively, diagonally. In both cases, a Full HD panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels is used.
The younger of the two new products is equipped with an Intel Whiskey Lake-U generation processor (from Core i3-8145U to Core i7-8565U) and an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics accelerator with 2 GB of memory. The amount of RAM in the maximum configuration is 8 GB. It is possible to install an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD with capacities from 128 GB to 512 GB.
The model with a 15,6-inch screen, in turn, carries an Intel Coffee Lake chip (up to an eight-core Core i9-9880H product) and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4 GB) graphics accelerator. The amount of RAM can be up to 16 GB. For the storage subsystem, a solid-state module with a capacity of up to 512 GB and a 1 TB hard drive are available.
Both new items can be equipped with a fingerprint scanner and a backlit keyboard. There is a Wi-Fi 802.11ac adapter, a microSD slot, HDMI ports, USB Type-C, etc.
The Vostro 13 5390 and Vostro 15 7590 will go on sale this month, starting at $850 and $1150 respectively.
