Failbetter Games is not yet ready to talk in detail about their new endeavors, but the company's CEO Adam Myers (Adam Myers) made it clearwhat to expect.

"We can't say much about future games right now, but at least the next few games will be significantly different from Fallen London, Sunless Sea and Sunless Skies in terms of gameplay," warned Myers.

The head of Failbetter Games was quick to clarify that, despite the upcoming changes, the studio's games will retain "a rich narrative with a lot of decisions and their consequences."

The events of all three projects of Failbetter Games unfold in a single universe of Fallen London with its spirit of the Victorian era and underground oceans. In the franchise timeline, Sunless Skies is the latest installment in the series.

Sunless Skies is a gothic RPG with horror elements. Users in the role of the captain of a spaceship with a steam engine need to explore the local universe, comprehend new knowledge and try to survive.

After not very successful stay in early access Sunless Skies was released on January 31, 2019 on PC (Steam, GOG), and in the first half of 2020 promises to get to PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
