New Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition Models

The updated (2020) models of Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition laptops have been released.

The design of the Dell XPS hasn't changed much in recent years. But it's time for a change, and Dell is offering a fresh take on its top-of-the-line laptops.

The new Dell XPS 13 is thinner and lighter than previous models. At the same time, it is made of the same materials as its predecessors: aluminum, carbon fiber and fiberglass.

The main difference between the Dell XPS line has always been considered high quality displays. The new Dell XPS 13 features a 13.4" "InfinityEdge" screen with a thinner bezel. The bezels are so small that the display takes up almost all of the space, allowing for a 16:10 aspect ratio display in both FHD and UHD modes.

The keyboard as a whole has become wider, as well as the area of many buttons. The touchpad has become 17% larger. Now don't miss out!

The specification has also been upgraded a bit. The new Dell XPS 13 replaces Intel Comet Lake processors with Intel Ice Lake processors (i3, i5 and i7) with the latest Iris Plus integrated graphics.

The Developer Edition (shipped with Ubuntu) will come with up to 32GB of RAM and a fingerprint scanner.

The new Dell XPS 13 (Windows 10) is on sale starting January 7th starting at $999. The Dell XPS 13 Developer Edition (Ubuntu) will be available February 4 starting at $1199. The main difference in price is in a more powerful configuration.
