The 7452 model - perhaps not the final marking - is a 32-core processor with SMT support and a base frequency of 2,35 GHz. In tests compiled by ComputerBase, this chip clearly outperforms the first-generation EPYC 7551 Zen processor with a similar core configuration, but a lower base frequency (2 GHz). In percentage terms, the two-socket EPYC 7452 system was 44% faster than the EPYC 7551 pair, although they differ in frequencies by only 350 MHz or 17,5%.
