New releases of I2P anonymous network 1.5.0 and i2pd 2.39 C++ client

I2P anonymous network 1.5.0 and C++ client i2pd 2.39.0 have been released. Recall that I2P is a multi-layer anonymous distributed network operating on top of the regular Internet, actively using end-to-end encryption, which guarantees anonymity and isolation. On the I2P network, you can anonymously create websites and blogs, send instant messages and e-mails, exchange files, and organize P2P networks. The basic I2P client is written in Java and can run on a wide range of platforms such as Windows, Linux, macOS, Solaris, etc. I2pd is an independent C++ implementation of the I2P client and is distributed under a modified BSD license.

The new release of I2P is notable for the change in the numbering of releases - instead of the next update in the 0.9.x branch, release 1.5.0 is proposed. The significant version number change is not related to a noticeable change in the API or the completion of the development stage, but only due to the desire not to get hung up on the 0.9.x branch, which has been around for 9 years. Of the functional changes, the completion of the implementation of compact messages used to create encrypted tunnels is noted, and the continuation of work on transferring network routers to use the X25519 key exchange protocol. The I2pd client additionally provides the ability to bind custom CSS styles for the web console and adds localization for Russian, Ukrainian, Uzbek and Turkmen languages.
