The power plant of the electric bus is powered by lithium-titanate (LTO) batteries. It is claimed that the power reserve on one charge is 70 km. The maximum speed is 75 km/h.

The car is charged from ultra-fast charging stations using a half-pantograph. It takes only 24 minutes to fully replenish the energy reserve. Thus, the bus can be recharged at the final stops of the route.

In addition, an on-board charger is used to charge the battery pack from a three-phase 380V AC mains. This so-called "overnight charge" takes an average of 8 hours.

It is important to note that charging is possible at temperatures from minus 40 to plus 45 degrees Celsius. Therefore, an electric bus can be operated in the Russian climate all year round.

The car can accommodate 85 passengers and has 33 seats. The list of equipment includes USB connectors for recharging gadgets, satellite navigation, etc. The low floor level, the presence of a ramp and a storage area provide high comfort for all passengers, including those with limited mobility.

“The electric bus demonstrated at the ELECTRO-2019 exhibition is the result of many years of work by the KAMAZ team. It has become one of the most high-tech products not only in the range of the company's products, but also among the world's models of vehicles of this kind, ”says the developer.
