The new iPhone SE was faster than the iPhone XS Max, but slower than the iPhone 11

Presented the other day iPhone SE (2020) built on the A13 Bionic processor, the same one used by Apple in its flagship iPhone 11 Pro solution. However, the results of the device test in the AnTuTu benchmark indicate that the Apple company is artificially lowering the speed of the chipset in the new iPhone SE.

At the same time, it should be noted that the compact 4,7-inch new Apple product outperformed (and not surprisingly) the iPhone XS Max model, which showed a result of 443 points. After all, this device was introduced in 337 and runs on the slower A2018 Bionic platform.

The fact that the iPhone SE has shown its superiority over the iPhone XS Max can be an excellent motivator for buyers to choose a new compact smartphone. True, the downside here may be that the benchmark results speak in favor of artificially slowing down the A13 Bionic processor for the sake of saving battery. It is a 4,7-inch baby with a capacity of only 1812 mAh.

Let us recall that the iPhone SE (2020) is a β€œsymbiosis” of the iPhone 8 body, the iPhone XR camera and the iPhone 11 Pro chipset. And all this for a price starting from $399 (39 rubles in Russia).
