The new version of the computer-aided design system KOMPAS-3D v21 works stably in the Alt Workstation 10 OS. Solution compatibility is ensured by the WINE@Etersoft application. All three products are included in the Unified Register of Russian Software.
WINE@Etersoft is a software product that provides seamless launch and stable operation of Windows applications in Russian operating systems based on the Linux kernel. The product is based on the code of the free Wine project, which Etersoft has been developing since 2005. Some of the Etersoft team's patches for wine can be found in git repositories.
Previously, representatives of "Basalt SPO" stated, which, in parallel with the wine-solutions of Basalt SPO, together with colleagues from Ascon, continue to work on creating a native version for the Alt OS.
