The new Aorus 17 laptop features a keyboard with Omron switches

GIGABYTE has introduced a new portable computer under the Aorus brand, designed primarily for gamers.

The Aorus 17 is equipped with a 17,3-inch diagonal display with a resolution of 1920 Γ— 1080 pixels (Full HD format). Buyers will be able to choose between 144Hz and 240Hz refresh rates. The panel response time is 3ms.

The novelty carries on board the ninth generation Intel Core processor. In particular, the Core i9-9980HK chip of the Coffee Lake family was used, which contains eight processing cores with the ability to simultaneously process up to sixteen instruction streams. The nominal clock frequency is 2,4 GHz, the maximum is 5,0 GHz.

The amount of DDR4 RAM reaches 32 GB. 2,5" drive and M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD are available.

As part of the graphics subsystem, a discrete NVIDIA RTX accelerator is involved. Among other things, it is worth highlighting the Killer AX 6 Wi-Fi 1650 wireless adapter. In addition, there is a Bluetooth 5.0 + LE controller.

The laptop comes with Windows 10 operating system. Weight is approximately 3,75 kilograms.
