Developers from the Asobo studio together with the publishing house Focus Home Interactive presented a new trailer for the adventure stealth action game A Plague Tale: Innocence with a story about the monsters of the game world.

The setting of the game is medieval France, mired in war and plague, but the monsters here are not hordes of plague rats or something otherworldly, but ordinary people. It is people who are the most cruel, dangerous and insidious. “Your enemies are everywhere - from luxurious buildings and majestic cathedrals to the dirtiest basements and cellars,” say the developers. — While the deadly elemental hordes of rats blindly attack Amicia and Hugo time after time, other enemies - much more sophisticated - deal carefully calculated blows. English troops, robbers and, worst of all, the Holy Inquisition in the person of the mysterious Mr. Vitaly - all pursue the children with selfless zeal, spurred on by unknown forces.

Lord Nicholas, commander of the military forces of the Inquisition, will become a real nightmare for the heroes. “A cruel, uncompromising lord will go to any lengths to fulfill his master’s will and deliver his children,” Asobo employees explain. “A powerful, purposeful, zealous commander, commanding an army of fanatics and knowing no mercy, is a truly terrible enemy.”
