Bigben and Eko Software have unveiled a new trailer revealing the plot behind the dark world of the action-RPG Warhammer: Chaosbane.
βIn an age of lawlessness and despair, ravaged by civil war and devastated by plague and famine, the Empire lies in ruins,β the authors say. βIt was the year 2301, when the Kurgan leader Asavar Kul united the wild tribes of the Chaos Wastes and went to war in the lands of people. Invaders have invaded the remote northern kingdom of Kislev and stormed its largest city, Praag. But even in these dark times, a noble from the southern lands named Magnus was able to raise the people of the Empire to fight against the invaders.
Magnus' undertaking was successful: the united army went to the capital of Kislev, and under the walls of the city entered into a bloody battle with the forces of Chaos. With the help of mighty heroes from all over the world, Kul was defeated and his hordes routed. βHowever, while the Old World was still celebrating the victory, the Dark Gods were already planning their revenge ...β, the developers complete the story.
A new war is just around the corner, which means that by choosing one of the heroes - a human, a high elf, a forest elf or a gnome - we will crush hordes of monsters and fight bosses. Eko Software promises 70 enemy types, 180 character development abilities, an "exciting story campaign", hundreds of dungeons, and 10 difficulty levels. You can play both in single player mode and in cooperative mode, designed for 4 people.
Warhammer: Chaosbane will be available on June 4 this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. IN
