The new episode of State of Play will be held on May 14 and will be entirely dedicated to Ghost of Tsushima

Sony Interactive Entertainment on the Official PlayStation Blog website announced a new episode of its State of Play newscast. Unlike previous broadcasts, the upcoming one will be dedicated to only one game.

The new episode of State of Play will be held on May 14 and will be entirely dedicated to Ghost of Tsushima

The main and only theme of the upcoming State of Play will be the samurai action game Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch Productions. The broadcast will begin on May 14 at 23:00 Moscow time.

In total, Sony Interactive Entertainment promises about 18 minutes of news about Ghost of Tsushima, including an extended demonstration of the gameplay - exploring the open world, the combat system, and so on.

Among other things, the Japanese company felt it necessary to note that in the upcoming release of State of Play there will be no place for information about the PlayStation 5, which should go on sale before the end of the year.

This is probably not only and not so much about Sony's next generation console, but about earlier rumors about the possible release of Ghost of Tsushima on PS5, given the proximity of the release of the game and the launch of the console.

Ghost of Tsushima will release on July 17 exclusively on PS4. As it turned out thanks to Description on PlayStation Store, the samurai action game will require at least 50 GB of free space on the console's hard drive.

Recall that Ghost of Tsushima was planned for release yet 26 June, however, the COVID-19 pandemic forced Sony Interactive Entertainment postpone release The Last of Us Part II, which in turn influenced on the timing of the premiere of the Sucker Punch Productions project.
