Such figures are surprising not only for this period, but also in light of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X coming out by the end of the year. It is possible that sales in March were boosted by such high-profile releases as Resident Evil 3, Doom Eternal and Persona 5: Royal. However, it is most likely that the demand was boosted by the coronavirus pandemic, due to which people prefer to stay at home and choose appropriate entertainment. In addition, consoles are now sold at low prices, and the library of games is huge.
