The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 was the best-selling accessory in the United States in January, according to the latest report from analytics firm NPD Group. “The Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller was the top-selling video game accessory for the third month in a row,” said NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella. “Within three months on the market, it became the fifth fastest-selling video game accessory in U.S. history.”
It's worth noting that NPD Group sorts accessories by sales dollars. This means that it is not necessarily the fifth best-selling accessory in terms of sales in terms of quantities.
