NVIDIA reveals ray-traced trailer for Control launch on August 27th

Developers from the studio Remedy Entertainment and publisher 505 Games will present the action thriller Control with Metroidvania elements next week. As is known, the game will support hybrid rendering effects using ray tracing on GeForce RTX series graphics cards. NVIDIA could not help but take advantage of this opportunity and presented another special trailer dedicated to RTX effects, which are designed to increase the reliability of lighting in all scenes of the future project:

In a nutshell, Control will offer improved real-time reflection rendering using ray tracing; transparent surfaces (included separately); indirect diffuse lighting; contact shadows. All this, as the video card manufacturer notes, significantly increases the authenticity of Control’s already cinematic graphics.
