The current head of People Can Fly reacted to the words of the co-founder of the studio regarding its current lineup

Not long ago, The Astronauts studio head Adrian Chmielarz made statement regarding the current line-up of the People Can Fly company working on the RPG Outriders. He said that there was no one left in the team involved in the development of Painkiller and Bulletstorm, the most famous creations of the team. Khmelazh was one of the founders of the studio and had a hand in the creation of the aforementioned projects, so many believed his statement. And now the current head of People Can Fly, Sebastian Wojciechowski, has commented on this.

As the Polish portal reports INNPoland, the director said: β€œIt’s hard for me to understand what he [Khmelazh] wanted to say. Personally, I perceive his words as an attempt to draw attention to myself on the wave of interest in our project. His comment was rather odd and used the phrase "none of the writers behind the old games work in the studio anymore". Although, knowing Adrian, he meant only himself.

Wojciechowski then noted that it was not fair to attribute all the credit for the development of previous People Can Fly projects to a few former employees. According to the head, the people who had a hand in Painkiller remained in the studio, and twenty people from the current composition worked on Bulletstorm - this is a third of the former team.

Outriders will release in fall 2020 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and next-gen consoles.
