Developers of the project , within which an independent community is developing a port of the Android platform for the x86 architecture, second stable build release based on platform . The assembly includes fixes and additions that improve the work of Android on the x86 architecture. For loading universal live builds of Android-x86 9 for x86 32-bit (706 MB) and x86_64 (922 MB) architectures, suitable for use on typical laptops and tablet PCs. Additionally, rpm packages have been prepared for installing the Android environment in Linux distributions.
The release is notable for syncing with the Android 9 codebase (android-9.0.0_r54), updating the Linux kernel (4.19.110), fixing an issue with booting on systems in UEFI mode, and fixing audio issues when installing on Microsoft Surface 3.
