Ubuntu RescuePack 22.10 antivirus boot disk update

The Ubuntu RescuePack 22.10 build is available for free download, which allows you to carry out a full anti-virus scan to detect and remove various malware, computer viruses, trojans, rootkits, worms, spyware, ransomware, and to treat infected computers without starting the main operating system. The size of the bootable Live image is 3.5 GB (x86_64).

Includes ESET NOD32 4, BitDefender, COMODO, McAfee, Avira, eScan, Vba32 and ClamAV (ClamTk) antivirus packages. The disk is also equipped with tools for recovering deleted files and partitions and allows you to work with crypto-containers VeraCrypt, BitLocker. Data validation is supported on FAT, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, HFS, HFS+, btrfs, e2fs, ext2, ext3, ext4, jfs, nilfs, reiserfs, reiser4, xfs, and zfs file systems. The use of an external boot disk does not allow malware to oppose the disinfection and recovery of an infected system. The assembly can be considered as a Linux alternative to such disks as Dr.Web LiveDisk and Kaspersky Rescue Disk.

In the new version:

  • Updated anti-virus databases (October 2022) of all anti-viruses on the disk: ESET, BitDefender, COMODO, eScan, ClamAV, Vba32, Avira, McAfee.
  • Π‘lamAV anti-virus has been updated to version 0.103.6.
  • The Avira antivirus engine has been updated to version 8.3.64.202.
  • Removed Sophos Anti-Virus
  • Updated R-Studio 5.1.191044, VeraCrypt 1.25.9, Firefox 105, OpenVPN 2.5.7.
  • Updated Ubuntu package base (as of October 2022).
