It turns out that the company used two different versions of the printed circuit board (PCB) in the Galaxy A70, which controls the charge controller and the smartphone screen. This board's firmware should be updated with Android, but Samsung probably forgot to include the necessary code for one of the PCB versions.
As a result, installing Android on some Galaxy A70 series smartphones makes the device think that the battery is completely dead, which in turn prevents the device from turning on the screen and booting. The only way to solve the problem is to replace the circuit board with a more recent version, which in turn is impossible without visiting a Samsung service center.
At the moment, most reports of this error come from the Netherlands, but how widespread the problem is in other countries is not yet known. It is indicated that Samsung has suspended the release of the update in all markets where the firmware has already appeared. It will likely take some time for the issue to be resolved before the update rollout resumes.
