Firefox 110.0.1 and Firefox for Android 110.1.0 update

A correction release of Firefox 110.0.1 is available, which fixes several bugs:

  • Fixed an issue where clicking the delete cookies buttons in the last 5 minutes, 2 hours, or 24 hours cleared all cookies.
  • Fixed a crash on Linux platform that occurs when using WebGL and launching a browser in a VMWare virtual machine.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the context menu to overlap with other interface elements on macOS.
  • Fixed an issue where clicking on the "Manage bookmarks" link in an empty bookmarks bar would not work on the Windows platform
  • Fixed a bug during CSP serialization that caused the MiTID (digital identifier used in Danish government online services) to not work.

At the same time, Firefox for Android 110.1.0 was released, which fixes a vulnerability (CVE-2023-25747) that leads to memory access after it is freed (use-after-free) in the libaudio library. The vulnerability only appears when using the AAudio backend on Android with API version <= 30.
