Firefox 90.0.2, SeaMonkey 2.53.8.1 and Pale Moon 29.3.0 update

A correction release of Firefox 90.0.2 is available, offering several fixes:

  • Fixed menu display style for some GTK themes (for example, when using the Yaru Colors GTK theme in the Firefox Light theme, the text in the menu was displayed in white on a white background, and in the Minwaita theme, the context menus became transparent).
  • Fixed an issue with output truncation when printing.
  • Changes made to enable DNS-over-HTTPS by default for Canadian users.

At the same time, an update of the SeaMonkey 2.53.8.1 set of Internet applications has been generated, which combines a web browser, an email client, a news feed aggregation system (RSS / Atom) and a WYSIWYG Composer html page editor within one product. Compared to the previous release, the mail client has improved archiving of messages and ensured that the offlineMsgSize parameter is saved when copying and moving messages between folders.

Also released is a new release of the Pale Moon 29.3 web browser, a fork from the Firefox codebase to provide greater performance, retain the classic interface, minimize memory consumption, and provide more customization options. The new version includes blocking some old versions of Mesa/Nouveau drivers due to problems, updated about:home page style, reorganized privacy settings, added support for brotli compression algorithm, implemented EventTarget constructor, updated styles for Windows 10, added network to the block list port 10080, support for dark themes appeared in CSS.
