CudaText 1.226.0, a cross-platform open source code editor written using Free Pascal and Lazarus, has been released. The editor supports Python extensions and offers several advantages over Sublime Text. Some integrated development environment features are available as plugins. More than 300 syntax lexers are available for programmers. The code is distributed under the MPL 2.0 license. Builds are available for the following platforms: Linux, Windows, macOS, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, DragonflyBSD, Solaris and Haiku.

Among the new features implemented since the last announcement:
- Added AI Local plugin to Plugins Manager, which uses Ollama to use large language models locally.
