Update of Sevimon, video monitoring software for facial muscle tension

Version 0.1 of the Sevimon program has been released, designed to help control facial muscle tension through a video camera. The program can be used to eliminate overexertion, indirect effects on mood and, with long-term use, to prevent the appearance of expression lines. The CenterFace library is used to determine the position of a face in a video. The sevimon code is written in Python using PyTorch and distributed under the AGPLv3 license.

Since the release of the previous version, the following changes have been proposed:

  • Significantly reduced the amount of dependencies used due to changes in the library used.
  • Added graphic program for customization.
  • The used neural network model has been changed.
  • Compiled binary programs for Windows 10 x86_64.
  • The pypi.org repository is loaded with a cross-platform package for network installation using the pip utility.
